Handbook of Research on Sport Psychology is a monumental effort by an internationally assembled team of seventy-five specialists in the field of sport psychology. According to the editors, their purpose "was to produce a comprehensive scholarly overview of research developments on the diverse contemporary themes that could be associated with the umbrella term sport psychology" (p. x).
