While viewing search results or the document display page, you can return to the search input page, make changes to your most recent search query and re-submit your search. For example, you will find a search summary above your results list or above the document header that may look like the following example:
Currently Searching Gale Virtual Reference Library database(s) with 1,399,252 documents updated as recently as July 23, 2007Results for Advanced Search TI (global warming)
Simply click the hyperlinked name of the search -- Advanced Search in this case -- to return to the search input page. Your search query will be re-displayed.
Note that it is not possible to revise the original search when accessing documents from the Marked Items list or from a Bookmark.
If no results can be found, the system will display a message suggesting that you revise your search. For example, if you had tried searching on litrature instead of literature, the system would display:
Results for Basic Search KE (litrature)
No Results matching your search term(s) were found. Please check your spelling or try other search term(s).
In this case, click the Basic Search link to return to the Basic Search page where you can make the spelling correction (click the Dictionary link on the toolbar if you need spelling assistance).
