CRANBROOK personal trainer to the stars Sarah Maxwell is calling on all coach potatoes to get off the sofa and raise money for a children's charity.
The health and fitness guru is backing The Children's Society's new Tough n Buff fundraiser which encourages people to get in shape in the comfort of their own home and raise cash at the same time.
Those who sign up to the challenge can take on a fitness goal over 30 days while also persuading their family and friends to sponsor them and get involved themselves.
The army of Tough n Buffers will be entered into an online leadership board so that those who stick to their daily workouts, while also watching their favourite TV programme, can be heralded for their fundraising and recruitment successes.
Ms Maxwell, whose clients include top dancer Anton Du Beke and TV presenter Andrea McLean, said: "As a celebrity lifestyle and fitness coach I see every day the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.
"But exercise isn't just about being an Olympic athlete or marathon runner, or even a well-toned celebrity with access to the most expensive gyms. It's something everyone can do as part of their daily routine. That's why I'm supporting Tough n Buff as it's all about fitting exercise into your daily lifestyle without it becoming a chore. And it's raising money for society's most vulnerable children too."
