Abstract :

Traumatic or irritational fibroma is a common benign reactive oral lesion and the treatment of choice is surgical excision. The use of lasers in dental practice has become a very common treatment modality. Here we present a case of a large fibroma on the buccal mucosa which was excised using diode lasers. This procedure proved to be an efficient treatment modality without any unfavourable postoperative consequences KEYWORDS: Fibroma, Diode lasers, Minimal Bleeding, Improved Healing.
