Abstract :

Career ladders can be used to promote job satisfaction and increase motivation for teachers. They help teachers facilitate organizational objectives, provide them with meaningful incentives, and offer opportunities for growth. Career ladders can include mentoring programs, instructional development and other school-wide contributions. Implementation of career ladders also fosters improved relationships between teachers, school officials and other educational administrators.
